DESCRIPTION

Test bench with four stations.
Test automotive water pump durability.
Programmable cycles with thermal variation of the coolant (-40 + 160) and variation of speed (0 to 9000 revolutions on the piece).

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

National Instriuments system with programming in LabView ver.7.1
The control system is made up as follows:
– an HP Pentium IV PC with 1GB of RAM and a Windows XP Professional operating system
– a 2010 National Instruments cFP (with analog input and digital I / O cards)
two cFP 2020 National Instruments (with analog input and digital I / O cards).

HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT

200 liter tank, containing glycol. Test system pressure regulation system from 0.3 to 5 Bar.
Plant with insulated 2.5 “pipes. 1 “tubes on single pumps supply.

PNEUMATIC EQUIPMENT

Ball valves with pneumatic control.

THERMAL EQUIPMENT

54 kW oil heating system.
Cooling system for reaching -20 ° C.
Liquid nitrogen for cooling the water pump.
Two plate heat exchangers for thermal transfer to the test circuit.
